Esquire Discussion Forum

Can we are a forum specifically for Esquires please? Similar to the Strat Discussion Forum.

There's plenty of talk about Esquires on here, people building them, pickup discussions, debates on what you get out of an Esquire that you don't get out of a Tele, types of wood, pics of vintage Esquires, talk of famous people who prefer Esquires, mods and stuff.

You can see it would be popular by how many posts there are in the Esquire Owners Club thread. The thread is good but it's hard to keep track of things when all the different discussions are running alongside each other in the one thread.

Also I think it would attract more people because there's plenty of Tele sites but nowhere for Esquire people.

Esquire Pickup Forum
One pickup, one forum, all tone.

Please?

Ummmmm, if you already have all that whats the problem ?, isn't there a thread in the 'Guitar owners clubs' page ?

everytime someone comes on here looking for esquire chat there's no where to go, you've got search "esquire" then work out what's new in all the different individual forums and threads.

yeah, there's an owners club thread but like I say people are always talking bout 10 different things at the same time in one thread, people miss stuff, questions don't get answered.

compare that to the strat discussion forum. when people wanna read or talk about strats they can go straight to the specific forum and they have all their different threads for different strat topics they're talking about so it's easier to get what you want out of the site.

We decided over 10 years ago that a Telecaster and an Esquire are the same thing. Hence no separate forum for Esquires.

If Esquires are separate from Teles then we'd need a Nashville forum too. As the difference between those three guitars is the number of pickups. And, what about Esquires with two pickups? They exist as well.

No, Esquires are single pickup Telecasters and other than some differences in electronics are the exact same guitar -- just a different model.
