Posting Pictures ???

Why can we only post a picture
one time ? If I post a picture on
one board, then try to post the
same picture on another board, I
get a message that says I already
posted the picture on another thread.

I assume you're trying to upload it as an attachment?

If so, then you don't need to upload it again, as this would mean there'd be multiple copies of the same photo taking up server space. What you need to do is either find the thread you originally attached the photo in, right click the photo and go to properties then copy the picture's URL and paste that into your new post/thread between image tags.

OR

Upload the photo to a picture hosting site, such as Imageshack, and copy the image's URL (imageshack gives you multiple choices of link I always pick Direct Link) and put that between image tags.

Not a very good explanation, I know. If you're still having trouble I'll try and help.

James is right. When you get told that you already uploaded a photo once it also gives you a link to that post. Simply go to that post, right click on the photo, click on "properties" and copy the location URL of the photo. Then put that into your new post.

OR

Upload a photo to the Photo Gallery here or some other photo gallery that allows linking. And then simply embed the photo in your post with the forum software's image BBCODE.
