Before you hit the "submit" button, highlight your text and copy it so you dont lose it, or compose it in a word processor or something, copy and then paste in the TDPRI. Of course, there might be another solution with the TDPRI, but thats for someone else to help you with

Here's an even better suggestion... Preview what you've written every 10 to 15 mins.
See, people log on here and read and move around and write a short post and then leave. They don't log out, they leave. Which is how it should be. So, when they aren't communicating with the server for a set period of time it automatically logs them out. When you are typing, you are doing that on your browser. You're not doing that on the TDPRI. So, if you take a half an hour to compose your post then you've had zero contact with the server and the system assumes (rightly so) that you've left the building. When you hit "Preview" you communicate with the server and you reset that timeout clock. Plus you get a chance to read your post and still can add, subtract and edit your message. It's really simple and it WORKS! |
