This seems unusually complicated to me. I've given it the olde college try but I can't figure out how to stop email notifications for a couple of my subscriptions.

Also, I how do I delete a subscription?

Click on Quick Links in the menu bar, click on Subscriptions and mark the check boxes on the ones you don't want any more, and then choose delete.

Stopping email notifications and deleting subscriptions is one in the same thing.
