how to post more images

If you look at my avatar, you will see that I have two pictures that people can look at. I do not know how I got them there and would like to add more. If anyone could help, I would appreciate it. Please give detailed instructions as I have already spent a lot of time trying to figure it out. I will not bore you with what/how I have tried. Thanks.

Sorry, but you must "bore" me with what you have tried. Asking without details simply makes it impossible for me to help.

PS. It's also one of my pet peeves as I get a lot of emails that simply say stuff like, "Can't log on." Without details I can't help at all.

Please accept my apologies, really. I was just trying to keep it brief. I will try to explain.

I clicked on the "Gallery" tab. From there, I have tried several things. 1) Clicking on "Upload Photos." After doing this, I have tried selecting "partscasters" and other categories for each unsuccessful attempt to upload images. I have also tried putting a photo in an album, which is called "strat/tele photos." I created this album, though I do not how and do not know how to pictures in it. I then name the image that I am trying to upload. I then find the image on my computer, open it, and click on "Upload/Submit." I am told that I have successfully uploaded the picture. I have done this process about 15 times and cannot find the image. 2) I have clicked on the "profile" button, and then gone to "Manage Photos." There are no photos there. 3) I have clicked on the "2 photos" link in my avatar. This takes me to what looks like the same screen I got to in scenario #1 - when I clicked on the "Upload Photos" button.

I realize that I am off track here. Once before after a few hours of tinkering I figured out how to do this stuff, but now I cannot remember it. I think it would be most helpful if you could just teach me how to add photos so that people could access them by clicking on the link in my avatar that now reads "2 photos."

Humm, I just uploaded a photo of my strat to the album you created called "strat/tele photos." It worked perfectly for me.

I'm guessing that the problem is the photo you are trying to upload. Are you trying to upload more than one at a time? What is the size in pixels of the photo you're trying to upload and what is the size in bytes of the photo?

By far the biggest problems people have is that they don't realize that they are trying to upload GIANT photos. If it's a photo from a digital camera, and it hasn't been edited in a photo editor then I'd guarantee its HUGE.

I think you are right. I suppose I should have understood that "your image was uploaded successfully" means that the image did not upload. Thanks for your help.
