Forum not updating if not logged-in

I just viewed the forum without logging-in and the latest posts on all threads were roughly four hours old. I tried again after logging-in and the forum was correctly up to date and showed all the posts made in that four hour period.

After logging out again the forum reverted to the four hour old version but it had advanced by the few minutes between the previous attempt.

I have removed cookies and cleared the browser cache and also used a second laptop that has never been used to visit TDPRI so I am pretty sure that the problem is not with the PC's

I have tried this with Firefox and IE7 with the same results.

Thanks

Pete

[EDIT]

This thread shows up but with the wrong time stamp when not logged in - it is four hours behind the actual time of posting. Log in and the time stamp is correct.

Because the Server is in Quebec, Canada an you are in the UK.

If you are not logged in then your time zone settings in your Profile can't be applied. You have your profile set to "GMT Western Europe, London, etc"

So, there is server time, your computer time and your profile time. When you are not logged in there is no way for the program to know your time zone preference.

That makes sense - thanks

I'd assumed that the time was localised to the PC - DOH!
