Two Rules to a Flat Stomach. Bletch!!!

I don't know about you guys but, every time I log on here these days I'm comfronted with a horrible ad photo on the right side of the screen of some cellulite riddled stomach purposely portrayed in a vile greyish hue and looking like a bag of doorknobs.

It's gross.

Being a man of some girth myself, I'm not repulsed so much by the fact that the photo portrays a hefty girl as much as it's purposely made to look gross. And it is.

Make it stop! My eyes! Don't make me start posting this photo all over the place!

You have no idea how hard I work at:

1. Getting "music" and guitar related ads only
2. Keeping these "diet" ads off of the TDPRI
3. keeping the TDPRI running with the enormous costs associated with running this website.

I work hard to get rid of these ads. Every time I see them I remove them. But I can't tell Google broadly just not put any diet ads on my site. I have to name the URL that each ad goes to and block ads to that URL. But, I only see the ads that I see. Everyone sees different ads on their computer based on their location and surfing habits. So you may see ads that I never see. And if I don't see it I can't find the URL to block it.

The company running these ads has found them to be so profitable that they are willing to create thousands of URLs. So no mater how many URLs I block new URLs are created. But obviously they are all the same company. For some reason Google isn't heads up enough to catch all of these either.

I can't stop the ads without shutting down the TDPRI. I can only work to block these ads as I see them. It's not just Google that does this. I run ads from a couple of networks and they all have them and I work hard to block them all.

If you go to hundreds of national or international websites you'll see these ads and see them all over the web. It is my impression that other such companies do nothing to stop or filter these ads -- where I work hard to stop them all the time.

I'm sorry you see them. In fact, I didn't know you did because for the most part I never see them when I'm at the TDPRI.

I'll keep working but please understand that not only do I agree with you that they are bad but that; I'm working hard at removing and or replacing them with better ads and I can't do much more than I'm doing to prevent them.

PS. I removed 27 other posts here that mostly just agreed with the OP (which I do as well) and or made it worse with more gross photos of fat people and etc. Also, I'm closing the thread -- I know full well that no one likes these -- I hate them -- bust as you'll read above I'm pretty stuck with them.
