A Classifieds posting etiquette question

If you have an item that is for sale OR for trade, should you post it in both sections?

I just noticed the 'for trade' sections today.

I'd just post it in the for sale section, and mention in the description that you will also take trades. I don't think posting two adverts for the same item is appropriate, sorry.

Maybe some members with more experience using the classifieds can chime in? I confess that it's a section of the forum I rarely visit..
