Twanger Central MP3 question

How do you post an mp3 link so that the link doesn't take you to a file hosting site but rather just opens the download window.

For example on this post http://www.tdpri.com/forum/twanger-c...fle-blues.html when you right click on the mp3 link I can just start downloading it to my computer without being directed to a file hosting site first. How is this accomplished?

It depends on the site where you store your files. If they are on soundclick or the like, you have to go through the hosting site. Other sites don't require that, for example I have a tripod site, if I put up a link, you go directly to the file.

Cool! I'm using Mediafire.com and it looks like they don't offer that capability. I'll have to check into it a bit more but thanks for the info. I kinda figured it was dependent on what hosting site you were using.

I'm testing ways to play MP3's from within the post. The file still must be hosted somewhere though.

An integrated audio player would be great!
