Pop up ads... I know, I know

Hey Paul, I know that you've told a couple of other people that the pop-up ads are something on their end, but I need to report this oddity...

Today I can't seem to get here through to the www.tdpri.com domain, so I tried www.telecaster.com and was able to load the page. I assume it may be something with the server change over. However, when I did, about 10 pop-ups appeared. That has never happened going through tdpri.com. I have Adaware and Spybot installed and run them before I leave work everyday. Just wonder if it has something to do with the forwarding process from one domain to the other?

No idea

I have no idea... but also no other people have reported any of this so I have to assume it's something weird on your end of the equation.

If no one else could get though on TDPRI.com I'd get a zillion emails telling me so.

The domain move hasn't even begun as of yet. The server just arrived yesterday. So it can't be any of that either.

And as for Popups there are NONE here so you've got something in your system that you didn' know you had.

Good Luck
Paul Green

Same Problem Yesterday

Paul,

I couldn't get on yesterday afternoon between 2:00 and 3:00 PM Seattle time.

I reached the website but could only get a blank screen.

Very strange..........

That's actually when my problems started. It would take me to a site that said the domain www.tdpri.com was for sale and all of the popups would occur. Then I could go to www.telecaster.com and the page would come up, but down at the bottom where the garage sale link is, it would have the same domain for sale message, and all of the popups would appear. I just ran another check, and found nothing new, left to eat lunch, came back, and everything is fine now...

I had the same thing around the same time, the page that said TDPRI domain for sale, redirect to telecaster.com and heard a bunch of popupblocker beeps, just thought it had to do w/server changeover too... maybe someone noticed the TDPRI #1 music resource ranking and was trying to get in on the traffic ?

Odd

I better check into this. Sounds like domain hijacking might be a threat.

Thanks
Paul
