Suggestion: Glossary/Acronym decoder
Just a suggestion:
It would be great for noobs like myself if you provided (perhaps in the "Resources" area) a decoder ring for all of the common abbreviations that fly around the forums. Stuff that is common knowledge to old-hats, but kind of obscure to the new folks. For instance, it took me 15 minutes to figure out that "MF" was shorthand for "Musician's Friend." Or how about "CIJ:" Is that "Crafted in Japan?" Anyway, I think you get the idea. such a tool would be very handy! Thanks.

Whilst the term "IMHO" is pretty standard worldwide, it did take me a month or two of head-scratching to work out what "YMMV" meant!

I'm glad I found this thread. I had most of them figured out but the YMMV one I didn't know until now. Also when I first started on this forum I couldn't understand why so many people were talking about flatulence on a guitar forum. Myself I always just turned up my amp and blamed it on the drummer
