Finish for "aged" wood

I'm going to "age" some pine with the tea and rusty nails/vinegar method.

I'm planning on using a danish oil (just a few coats) and wax finish, since that's what I have and like using. Do I have to neutralize the vinegar in any way, or can I put whatever on top of it? Should I consider another type of finish?

No need to neutralize it. Be careful using it though, it's really easy to get it too dark.

Pine ages so fast on its own under light and with oil I reckon it's hardly worth doing it artificially.
