10 dollar Charity Shop Fernandez Acoustic

Heres something I picked up yesterday from my local charity shop, I'm thinking of a quick and cheapish way to revive her in particular the edges and the scratched in lettering on the head stock and rear I dont really dont want to sand it right back, I thought maybe a medium to fine grade sanding sponge and maybe those wood furniture colored wax sticks to fill and revive the black and scratched bits, the top and back are passible any other tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this wont be a keeper more for trading up. cheers

and yes I have an old cash register in my kitchen as in pic#2 haha
