Duplicolor Acrylic Lacquer Primer and Clear Gloss

Question one: Will Acrylic lacquer primer stick to urethane?

Question two: If I use the Krylon Glitter blast sparkle, can I cover that with the Duplicolor Acrylic Clear Gloss? or what is recommended?
I dont want to go through all this work and then have it to start peeling or cracking or sit the guitar in a stand and the lacquer begin to melt.

I've read numerous articles on finishes, whats best, whats not....

I have if needed a spray gun and compressor but I'm trying to cheat!!

And two words for you:

Test Stick.

I doubt you are going to find many people who have used that exact combo, or who applied it how you might. Also a test stick will show you the final result.

While it been make it take more time or a extra can of this or that it beats stripping a guitar 10 times over.

Even if two products technically there can be hiccups. Like when i used shellac sealer under primer and the sealer bubbled under the quicker drying primer. How that happened is a Mic
