is one can of duplicolor perfect match enough for a telecaster body or would it take two cans.

also what's the average cure time from start to finish.

One can is enough as long as the body is primed first. Dries in less than a 1/2 hour.

Duplicolor is good.
I finished this one with Duplicolor perfect match. just don't get the Duplicolor clear, it sucks, takes forever to harden.
For clearcoat, I used Minwax clear lacquer, which I sprayed the next day.

so for an ash body it would go sanding sealer, grain filler, primer, color, then clear ?

Use the dupli-color wheel paint CLEAR over the color
The wheel paint clear is a poly urethane !
