Need a few more pics before I say for sure. Not too keen, but it could be the angle and/or lighting.

I like it! More details would be nice. Is the copper buried in clear? How hard was the finish to do?

this is during the build under better lighting. it looks 3d when the angle changes. 22 coars of clear with lots of wet sanding between coats.

I started with Nitro from Reranch but quickly discovered it would take 10 cans! I wound up using catalized urethane.

Very cool. I really like the fretboard shot. Can we see more of it?

I'm liking it so far, need natural light pics though. You didn't use copper for the frets did you? Nah, you wouldn't...

Guess you don't have any problem with the 60 cycle hum on that thing.

Bet it looks good in the lights.

As they say in the Old Country, that's totally bitchin' and fully rad, man.

Beautiful guitar. Is catalized urethane particularly good over nitro?

copper shielding foil from stumac... 3 entire rolls!
The clear works fine over nitro and provides far superior protection over nitro clear.
If you want to do any relicing though, you have to use nitro.
