Finish ideas?

I need some help deciding over my finish, This is obviously the tough part finding out what color out of the hundreds of colors you want to paint your tele. I was thinking a metallic dark gray finish, Becuase im going to have all chrome hardware and a polished aluminum pickguard. Any ideas on any other colors that would look good? I was also thinking an All olympic white with black hardware and polished aluminum pickguard. please help me come up with Ideas.

Personally I don't like black hardware or metal pickguards. But metallic gray with that pg might be a cool industrial/elegant look. I'm kinda liking pastels these days like the sonic/daphne, surf/seafoam, fiesta/coral type colors. White and chrome is a real classy look to me. I've also been toying with metallics like sherwood and shoreline. Hard to choose, huh?

It sounds a little Gibson SG platinum to me. Nothing wrong with that, however if I was going to paint a tele it'd have to be a nice vanilla cream, yellower than oly white (not unlike the background colour on this site) with a red tort guard, chrome and rosewood.
