are mixing ratios different with reducer compared to with thinner?

Are mixing ratios different with lacquer reducer compared to with lacquer thinner if I'm planning to mix them with Lawrence-McFadden's clear lacquer? In other words, is lacquer reducer and lacquer thinner exactly the same? If not, how are they different? Maybe I should call the Behlen company to get the lowdown, but since there's a lot of smart people here at TDPRI I thought I'd ask in the forum. I bought some "Behlen Qualalacq Lacquer Reducer" (product number B611-06316) at Woodcraft today which the salesmen there said is exactly the same as what's on their website which says "Behlen Qualalacq Thinner 631 (for nitrocellulose finish)". The picture has the same product number as what I bought, but I can't figure out why in the heck they changed the name - very confusing to me. 99.9999% of the time I see this kind of product sold as lacquer thinner, so I'm wondering if maybe it's a marketing thing or if they really are different.
