Deft - Sanding Sealer??
Has anyone used the Deft brand of Sanding Sealer? As I understand it....the Deft Lacquers are Nitro, while maybe not the best Nitro option, but still an option.
I noticed while I was at Lowes yesterday that Deft has a Sanding Sealer for about $9:00 a quart. Since the Lacquers are Nitro does that mean the Sanding Sealer would be compatible with other brands of Nitro Lacquers? Best, cnunn30 |

I too found it at Lowe's except in spray cans. I bought 4 cans.
It sprays well enough and sands easily. It took 2 cans to do a cypress body, but then I didn't use any grain filler so I sanded most of that away. It levelled out nicely and ReRanch paint sticks to it quite well so no complaints at all here.

I bought some in the can at Home Depot, and returned it. It seemed like a vinyl sealer to me, and on a test it dried neither fast nor hard. Yes, we are talking Louisiana, but I didn't care for it, and I really don't return much of anything.
