It was a Subway Blues. It was so simple buy sounded so great. Tube reverb, 10" speaker. Just a great amp all around. I've had a bunch of amps but I think that's the only one that I ever regret selling.

That's my main amp these days. If I need a little more output, I stack it on a Boogie EV Thiele extension.

No doubt one of the best things I've ever heard was a Tele I had plugged into a MM 210 65 I had in the shop repairing about 6 months ago - didn't want to give it back. I see some unbelievable tone machines come through here and the shimmering cleans that MM delivered along with punch and touch sensitivity was almost chewy. I can still feel it when I think about it. Yes, its an actual feeling with that kind of punch and clarity. The one I had was all tube except the recitifier. Truly a match in heaven for a country player or any player really with the right boxes in front of it. Couldnt be a better clean basis to start from. I wouldn't hesistate to buy one if I ever find one. Built tough too - like a tank.

I just joined the club last night. Got a great deal on a BP30 head. Haven't had a chance to put it through its paces yet, but even at quiet volumes last night after the kids went to bed I was blown away by the smooth tones I was getting at true bedroom volumes. I don't have a cab yet, so I had to run it through my BJr with the Cannabis Rex in it and even that sounded good. I have ordered a Coyote Cabs Alpha Pup 1x12 that I will put the Cannabis Rex into once it arrives. Can't wait. I'll make sure to come back and post pics once it arrives.

Can anyone give me a rundown on what the different modes are supposed to be emulating?

Pro Junior Club

I can't make a diagram for you but I can try to explain it better.
Basically, the Pro Jr on the left (Blonde) powered the 2 x 12" Bassman cabinet with 2 Jensen Alnicos in it.

The Pro Jr on the right (tweed) has had an internal Y cord installed so there are 2 speaker outs. There is a Jensen Alnico in the tweed amp and a Mojotone 10" in the blonde one.

So, Blonde Pro Jr-2 x12 closed back Jensen Alnico
Tweed Pro Jr- 2 x 10" open back, 1 Jensen Alnico, 1 Mojotone

The board that I was using at the time had a Fulltone Choral/Flange as the last pedal so I had 2 outs. I usually had the Blonde amp that was powering the 2 x 12" cab set a little cleaner than the Tweed one so they would react to the pedals differently.

Fun rig for sure.
