Just wanted to let you know, I disabled the tone control on each of my Teles, and rewired them with 2 volume controls, one for each pickup. The Teles sound great! Try this on your Hot Rod!

Exactly what I'm thinking about (a Broadcaster configuration, unless I'm mistaken)! Seems like a smart first move + plus adjusting the pickup height. The neck is too dominant for my taste. Did you change the pot value for each pickup when asigning a sep. volume control for each one? The Hot Rod is 375k, which might be a compromise to roughly suit both pu:s...Better to go with 500k for the minibucker and 250k for the bridge, or what do you think?
Thanks for sharing.

No I didn't get to work with Was Not Was but I've done a few sessions with a couple of the band members when they were working on their own things. Also did a bunch of sessions with PFunk All Stars but every engineer in Detroit has too at one time or another. ;-)

Jellyroll, thanks and keep me posted on where and when you're gigging.

Stevez, I love those guys, great grooves and super vocals, never mind the lyrics. Good stuff.
