for longhaul listening, guitarists are better in the context of a band/with a SINGER.

BTW, we can't talk Liberal/Conservative here.

Left is right and Right is a closed thread.

We need to stick with generalities to keep the discussion alive.

My point is that if a person's decision to join the "green team" is expressly for perception by others in public, but then that same person pours used engine oil in the field behind his house when no one is looking, I find that to be morally reprehensible.

The Gibson that I love ceased to exist around 1970 or so.

Why the blind allegiance to a company that has made either garbage or over-priced hoo-hah for decades ?

Oh - you mean innocent until proven guilty ?

Go back to the original thread and check the pages of stuff Gibson employees have to say about him.

If this whole thing means the company is weakened and folks lose their jobs - not good.

If, however, they jettison the mad man and the company starts to get smarter and stronger then - great.

The Vintage Boatneck is wonderful but it is a lot fatter on the centerline. You can sand it down to taste.

$37?!?
That's an order of magnitude more than I will pay for a meal.

I don't mind paying the price for a good meal. We don't go out that often anyway, so its a treat. My meal last weekend was $32.00

I paid $54.00 for surf and turf in Napa and it was worth every cent.

So the concensus is 'tits on a boar'?

Almost.

Here's where you are. Strange city, on tour. Your tech is AWOL and the baggage handlers have buggered your guitar and you have a show in 20 minutes and have just discovered the action is 3/8ths inches high.
Loosen the neck bolts and use it, because at this point you have no choice.

You can also use it for diagnostics.

I've played some G + Ls with the 3 bolt that had some tilt dialed in a little. They still sounded great.

I would suggest that of you left that tilt in there all the time, specially on the 4 bolt guitars, you will get a big 'ol bulge in the neck, right there.
