i havent tried this personally...i just use a damp cloth but i got this off of another forum for you and the logic makes sense...

here it is...

You can use the Gibson Pump Polish on the back of the neck and the body. I like it the best because it contains a trace amount of the same type of lacquer that's on your guitar, which can also help cover very small scratches. It's a white bottle with an orange label and you should be able to find it at most guitar shops.]]></description>
