Actually- I Have A List
but at the top is "The Long Road" by Cliff Eberhardt and Richie Havens.
Others: "In My Life" Beatles- My wife's and my song... "Blue Skys" Allman Brothers "Where There Is Faith" by 4 Him and for giggles "Travelin' Light"- either the Widespread Panic or Clapton version. Brian

Bluetele54,
I haven't seen you post in awhile! Nice one! First, I probably won't care because I'll be dead... but... I'll choose 3 so that I don't have to think too hard they are all optimistic and determined choices: 1) The Highwayman (Jimmy Webb) 2) Willin' (original version with ry on slide) 3) Ol' 55 (Ian Mathews version)

I've actually asked my wife to make sure this is played at my funeral as people file out sobbing and distraught, not knowing how to get through life without The Peoples Poet.
" I've Been Balled, Like I've Never Been Balled Before "....Ry Cooder I think. ( Or might be Bobby King and Terry Evans with Ry.)

Ohh--"The Highwayman" is a great choice.
I was thinking of a couple old Byrds tunes--"Turn Turn Turn" or "We'll Meet Again" Don't know why, but "Tears Of Rage" or "I Shall Be Released" by the Band would fit me too.

Great gig in the sky - Brilliant, SimonC. One of my all time favourites.
Or maybe "The Drugs Don't Work"
