I'm singing the Burst Pipe Blues this morning. The hook is something like,

"Son this looks like trouble and trouble don't come cheap"

I'm really digging this Perth based band, The Suntones, that I saw during the Tamworth CMF.

Yep and got off fairly easy. Just a day waiting for plumbers to show up and give me quotes.

Sure like the Mando on that tune Hoodie. Tennessee in Tamworth - Cool.

Cloudburst here yesterday afternoon. Nearly 2 inches of rain in 15 minutes. I have stuffed up an achilles tendon running to my car.

TUTM, these guys have me gassing for a mandolin big time. I'm trying to work out the best bang for buck on my limited budget.

Gerry it has rained here 7 out of 9 days this month, so far we've had 194mm (7.63"). Bad news about your Achilles Tendon. I hope it heals soon.

Epiphone is pretty good for the money. Michael Kelly also makes an inexpensive F style.

Wife told me I was spoiled today. I thought I was spoiled everyday. Guess I need to work on that.

A guy and his fiancee are taking a stroll when they hear a street performer doing a fantastic cover of Unchained Melody. They ask if they can book him for their wedding and are thrilled to find out he has just completed an album of original love songs AND he's a justice of the peace and can perform the ceremony. The big day comes and his originals are uniformly horrible and their wedding is a disaster. So always remember - you can't book a judge by his cover.

I developed an ear ache over the weekend. E-mailed the doctor and he said go to the Redi-clinic at the grocery store. I thought they just gave flu shots, but they actually treat stuff like ear aches. Still hurts today but getting better and thanks to the trip we're having Cornish Game Hens tonight. Don't get those at a Doctor's office. They might have something there. Maybe GC should consider it.
