New pedal planned, your insight is welcome

I have gotten my feet wet with a couple Fuzz pedals. I started on perfboard and got a Bazz Fuss to work (only just OK sounding), and also a Siliface (also just ok sounding). Now, I am taking a step backwards and using a Breadboard first to see and hear how changes in component values impact the sound. Last night was my first successful breadboarding operation. I followed a PDF “how to” for breadboarding a Bazz Fuss. This one sounded much better than the last one I made, and tonight I will be able to turn the amp up a bit more to really hear it. (I finished too late to do much with the amp.) What I am envisioning is building two Bazz Fuss circuits with different values so I have two flavors to work with, and then putting them in the same enclosure so I can select one, the other, or both at the same time. I already have an enclosure in mind, an unused external hard drive case. My skill level and understanding at this point is pretty basic, to say the least. My plan is to just put the two circuits, each with its own inputs, outputs, and battery, in one enclosure and just use a small patch cord from the first unit to the second, much like you would with two separate pedals. However, if there is a way to do this with just one set of input/ output jacks (rather than two), that would be ideal. So, I am posting this here to solicit recommendations and input from those with some know how. Thanks!

This should get you a good visual on what you're attempting:

Well I really appreciate your input, but have decided to nix this build for now. I am planning a fuzz face with bc1o9s. The fuzz pot is a b1k linear pot but I want to leave it out and wire it with the fuzz maxed out. Can I just use a 1k ohm resistor in its place?
