Tried to DIY Bypass my "Boss CE-5 Chorus", failed. Help??

I purchased a "Jack Deville Click-Lesse True Bypass" kit and attempted to install it in my Boss Chorus pedal. After completing the entire kit i plugged it in and tried.

The LED lit up and the dry signal was present and running, but when i engaged the pedal there was no effect noticeable. I went back and rewired a different lead into a different spot (i was unsure about some of the instructions exact meanings). This time the pedal wouldn't even light up.

This pedal is different than some of the ones they've given install guides for, its not so "cut n' dry" as they put it. But they claim you can use it on any pedal.

Can anybody possibly help me out?

Here's some .pdf's that i used for instructions.

Jack Deville Click-Less True Bypass Kit - Install Guide

Boss CE-5 Manual/Schematics

I can give more details if needed.
I'd appreciate any help anybody can offer.

Thanks,
Joel

Pictures of what you did will probably help try and mark the position where you had the wire when the light would go on and if you can indicate what was attached where before you started working that will probably also make it easier to help you

i'll get some pictures and post em' ASAP so you can see exactly what i did. I'd really like to fix this, i like that pedal a lot and it'd be nice to have it to use again.

Thanks!
