Positive Ground SHO ?
Has anyone here tried builing a positive Ground SHO, or similar circuit?
I assume that you cannot use a BS170 and must use a P-channel FET such as a BS250...? Would an N-channel FET such as a BS170 simply not function, fry, or what? |

I have not tried it, but just wondering what advantage you would gain by building it positive ground? |

http://www.diystompboxes.com/analoga.../obsidian.html It's more like a Box of Rock, but you could just grab one stage and tweak it into a SHO. P-channel mosFET's typically hiss less.
