crybaby mod, need help finding parts

Im really itching to try out this mod:

It will make the wah be true bypass when off, but even better than that , it will only turn on the wah when a foot is on it, then turn it off again when the foot is lifted off! No messing around trying to push it on with your toe, Genius!

The only problem is that I have no idea where to get a DPDT mini- momentary switch from. Ive tried google searching, but I could only find SPST, or regular sized momentary switches. I believe it needs to be mini to fit inside the wah.

Anybody know where I can find them?

Have you tried the usual suspects in Oz, i.e., Jaycar(Electus Distribution) / Farnell / RS Components?

How about Mouser or Small Bear? Maybe Futurlec has something like what you need.

I guess you could always e-mail Instructables and ask them where they got theirs from.

You been wanting to do this same mod? It certanly looks cool. I wonder if perhaps there is some way to do it with a normal rather than 'mini' mom switch? or even a spst mini mom ?

Well, I've searched thru about 10 different electronics websites the world over and no luck. Lots of spst but no mini dpdt... Ive also asked at dicksmith and jaycar in person, no luck.

It doesnt say mini but it looks smaller (shorter) than all the others I've seen, plus its obviously meant to be used by a foot not a finger.

I think I will get it and hope for the best. If I cant use it in the 'foot on' mod, then I'l just do the true bypass mod.
