If I bother to hook it up, Ampeg B2R and a 1x15 Sonic cab with a JBL. More often than not I just plug into the board and play through phones or monitors... My pre has phones out as well as aux in so if I'm learning material I hook the iPod into it and play backthrough the head phone out.

A Peavey TKO-115. Crappy amp, but for home practice it does the job.

SWR Basic Black...

like ducatiman but it's really overkill. I'm looking at a used LA-8 or a Nemisis N8. Better WAF (wife acceptance factor). The BB does sound nice though. I wish I had something to record, it's a great amp for it.

I use my lowly CRATE PowerBlock for bass practice. It has both headphone and XLR outs. [You wanna know a secret? I also gig with it.]

I usually use my Vox Pathfinder. It sounds OK at low practice volume and gets the job done. Sometimes I go through my Boss BR-8 recorder into my monitors, that sounds pretty good. But lately I've been dragging in my Genz Benz GBE600 with a Fender 115 Pro cabinet. It sounds tremendous at low practice levels. Nice and fat.

I sort of forgot about this. A couple of weeks ago I did vocals rehersal with the lead singer/rhythm guitarist. I took my Reverend which being a semi hollow body has a softer attack than my other basses and my Princeton Reverb - we just sang acoustically. He played his Gretch down really low and it was nice just to sit and sing so I guess I can add BF Princeton Reverb to the list.

Headphones is still the best for me though. They can be very revealing ... I used to have that Pandora, I've had a 3 & a 4. I like those things. I never bought into them as a recording interface or a Pre. Korg was reaching a bit there but - as a practice aid - way cool. They both had some great effects to play with when you're bored as well. On two week business trips I used to carry a Squire Strat and the Pandora in a gig. Saved my sanity in more than one hotel I can say...

No rock is left un-turned playing through 'phones. Good practice for sure. Playing a live gig with in-ears also helps one with nuances and dynamics, though it is rarely satisfying, IME.

Sometimes it's the same rig I use at gigs. My Carvin R1000 or my GK 400B head, usually at home I use ONE cab, my 1x12 Avatar cab, maybe the 2x10.
If I'm giggin' quite bit and my main rig isn't set up, I'll use my Fender Rumble 25 or my old Yamaha 50 watt 15" speaker amp.
