I really don't need a 6th bass. BUT a seller on cl was selling a '70 Aria 1720 for next to nothing, w/typical period chipboard case. Too good to pass up.

Thanks folks. Being a big Ramones fan I always knew I'd eventually end up with something Mosrite-y (or at least more Mosrite-y than my Dano Hodad, which is not a copy but vaguely in the ballpark, silhouette-wise), but I never reckoned it'd be a bass! One of the cool things about craigslist, ya never know what's gonna pop up. For a change, I had a few spare ducats lying around from a bonus. Helped that seller was a keyboardist and didn't really know what he had.

I'm pretty sure sure I could sell it for a couple bills easily, if not more, which would be a good profit, but frankly it's too cool to sell.

And I'm not even playing bass in any of my bands right now.
