Will a Musicmaster bass pickguard fit a Bronco Bass?

I'm thinking of having my Squier Bronco bass painted surf green and making it into a Musicmaster Bass "RestoMod".

If I buy a Musicmaster pickguard, will it work on a Bronco Bass?

Don't want to spend the money unless I know reasonably well that it will fit the routes. I don't really care about screw holes, I'll have them filled, but I don't want to have to cut new routes.

Thanks for the info!

I don't know if it is accurate, but I did an overlay with a pic of the Musicmaster pickguard on at Bronco bass pic, and it looks like the controls and the jack are in a slightly different place so they may not fit into the cavity correctly.

Is there anyway to show this overlay?

I might not be the one to help, and maybe an overlay might not help at all, but just curious what you saw to spark the idea...

I've always assumed they'd line up, but I'd be lying if I said I was positive!

I was told that the pickguard is smaller than the Bronco bass, so all the dimensions won't line up correctly...

I know the pickguard is a different shape, but I didn't think the pickup rout and the control cavity rout were different. But again, I'm sure of nothing!
