By the way, I've mentioned this many times before in this forum, but I immediately bought a Seymour Duncan 51 P-Bass pickup before I even heard the bass (duh) figuring that it would need a pickup change. I played my first gig with the bass stock and the pickup was sent off to another TDPRI member!

Enjoy your new bass!!

So far, I love it!

The fit and finish is just fine, fret work is beautifully smooth, intonation is perfect, the neck has some really nice grain pattern going on...the only thing I would change is the strings to flat wounds, but not for awhile yet. I'm not an aficionado but I'm impressed.

The only thing I have to play it through is Garageband, I have some nice Altec Lansing monitors with a powered sub-woofer...it sounds GREAT!

Yes, I did the same...Thomastik Infelds Jazz Flats! None better, but 1/2 the price of the bass!
