NAD!!! Ampeg SVT Content!

Bandmate picked up an Ampeg SVT-4 Pro on Craigslist for $460! It has a few scratches on the top of the case as it was rackmounted, but it sounds great with my also new (used from GC) MM Stingray 4 HH slo special! Now I just need a cab and I'll be ready to roll!

Unless you seriously like hauling a refrigerator around, I would look for a top quality 2-10 cabinet to go with it.

I thought about that, but I'm worried that when things get loud, I might be inclined to turn up a hair too much and damage the speakers. The amp gots the stones to puts a hurtin' on them cones. There are a couple avatar 2x10 cabs available on gc's website that I was looking at.

There are a number of 2x10 cabinets now rated to take pretty high levels, but they are not cheap. At least I would get 2 2x10's or 2 4x10" or some roadies.....

I swear by my SVT610HLF - rattled the windows with my SVT-3 so it'll blow your shorts right off with an SVT-4 sat on top of it!

The bass player in my band uses an SVT-3 Pro with an ampeg 4x10" cab, lays down some serious low end! Sounds great
