I really like it.
It has the power, it has the punch, it's quite comfortable (yet still a T-Bird with the signature neck-dive) and the transparent version looks really awesome. Really decent piece of hell-blazing musical equipment.
I'd prefer passive T-Bird, though. Just because it's passive.

Not really my style, but I did play one. As much as it pains me to say so (I typically hate Epi stuff of all stripes) it's a really a pretty nice bass.

If you're looking for that T-Bird thing, and don't want to spend $1500, this is a pretty good way to get it. I have to say I was pretty impressed, especially considering the price...

I guess we've found a reason why you don't want stylish, yet disturbing T-Bird Goth

I'm going with gut and grabbing an MIA Pbass. Picking it up today actually. I was in a local shop last night right at closing and found a mint '07 for $750. I'm going to grab it as soon as the store opens in an hour and a half.

I've been looking at those T-Birds too. I think I've been gassing for a T-Bird since I was about 16. Came close to buying a anniversary model back in the 80's and backed out at the last minute. Been seeing them go on the bay for pretty cheap. Hmmm...

If I had the spare cash, I would get a T-bird from Mike Lull. He made some improvements on the neck dive and the overall weight but made his own pickups, based on the original design.

And it's only ten times the price of the Epi t-bird pro.
