Anybody got any pictures of bass guitars that you've paid 2000 dollars or more? I love checking out the vintage and classic axes.

I've got an old and somewhat rare Carvin V440, but sadly, I don't think it could fetch $1 Large... sadly, the same is probably true with my old Gibson Grabber.
However, depending on the color, condition, year, and if it came with a case, I do own one thing that could fetch $2K with the right buyer. (There's one on eBay right now for more than that, but a far rarer color).

I did buy my girlfriend a '06 SG standard last year... those things are quickly approaching the 2K mark for a new one.

I was in Perkins Guitar in San Jose and a dude brought in a bass with a ergonomically spiraled neck.

The neck had a continuous spiral curve to keep you from twisting your wrist in an uncomfortable position.

It was amazing, it had to be worth thousands.
