51 P-Bass Build "Sparkle Content"

this photo was in the custom shop calendar a couple of years ago. i always wanted a bass that goes with this set.


buckocaster51 was able to match the sparkle and will be helping with the body. i did some mods on the body before shipping it to him. here i'm using one of my laser cut temps as a square to line up the bridge:


(note the shop princess in upper left corner)

The Neck

mamma bought me a nice birdseye neck blank for fathers day. started working on it:


slotting the scale to the neck


slot for the double expanding truss rod


slot complete, shown with rod


the rod and fillet glued in the neck
