Graphite in Precision Bass Neck

Anyone know when Fender started putting graphite reinforcements in the P-Bass necks?

My Highway One Precision has graphite, and that neck is perfect. The only other time I felt a Fender neck that nice, the store tags on the guitar said it had graphite inserts, too (some sort of signature Jazz bass, I think).

Reason I'm asking is, I saw a used 60th anniversary Precision at a good price, and I'm wondering if that one has the graphite...

They started graphite in the neck with the original American Standard series.

In 1995, when the "new" American Standard series debuted. Only the Am Standard and Am Deluxe series basses had it.
