Where can I find a short scale neck

I've got a an Eden Thinline body I'm interested in building a Tele bass with, but I've been a'googlin and haven't found a source for a short scale bass neck. Any suggestions? (inexpensive would be best!)

I'm not aware of anyone offering a short scale bass neck as a regular stock item.

I've built a couple of basses using the necks and some hardware from Squier Broncos I've bought used. If I get desperate enough and can't find a used Bronco I'd might buy a new one and strip it.

eBay has helped me buy a couple Musicmaster Bass necks.

Be aware that the neck scale affects the bridge location. You can't put a short-scale neck on a regular bass body without moving the bridge up quite a ways, and you can't put any kind of bass neck on a guitar body without moving the bridge back quite a ways. Oh, and if the guitar body is cut for a Fender-style neck, the pocket won't be long enough for a bass neck, you'll have to rout it out longer...

Cheers, Tim

USACG sells 30" scale necks generally intended for use as baritone guitar necks but I hear tell they'll drill the headstock for 4 string bass. Can't hurt to axe.

Thanks, I think I will be ordering a neck from Rondo but this one's on hold for the moment - I've started another Tele, picked up a Strat body and still have to finish the fretless project.
OCD, I think.
