Fathers Day Gig

We threw it together because everybody in our is now Fatherless.

We haden't played a note together in almost 2 years.
But we pulled it off.
It all came together in the best kind of way.

Free advice to the young players out there:
1) Don't burn your bridges on the way to the Fire.
2) As hard as it is to do, see it from the other guys point of view. Even if it is weird, it may be all you have to go on.
3) Keep your friends close. The older you get, the more you will need them!

Thank your Father for me. Mine isn't around and, I sure do miss him.

The Tele is a mid 90's MIM. Had Jumbo frets put on it. I string it with .011's.
The Neck PU is a Fender Custom Shop Noiseless, the Bridge is a Seymor Duncan Tele-Stack..
The LP is a '76 custom with Gibson Custom Shop '57 Humbuckers.

These guitars go through a Korg Rack Turner (with foot switch for SILENT tuning), and a Marshall JMP1 preamp.
From the JMP1, the signal is split in the output section.
One Input goes to the MusicMan Sixtyfive, the other goes to the Board via Direct Box.

On the far left is my Coup de Gras: a Rack that receives Aux Sends 3 and 4 from the House board (not shown).
On the far right is an Old-school JBL MR805 for the Drummer..
What you can't see, is a second one for me.

Long story short, we had 4 independent Monitor mixes on stage.
Worth its weight in gold!

Free advice to the young players out there:
1) Don't burn your bridges on the way to the Fire. Wait 'til you cross them first.
2) As hard as it is to do, see it from the other guys point of view. Killing him and wearing his facial skin as a mask helps.
3) Keep your friends close. Just not in the shower.

Thank your Father for me. Mine isn't around and, I sure do miss him. --- I wish I could. I feel the same way.

Glad you guys had a good time. Remember, you are the paterfamilias now.
