Let's Go to the Video File...

OK, let's see those TDPRI bands in action. Bonus points for originals, or maybe a drunk patron falling on stage.

No drunks in this one but there is a stooge in a green hoodie.

Cool! This one features me up front, another TDPRI'er picking lead, and a PA clipping all to hell.

StoogeSurfer, Thanks. It's over year old now but it was a fun experience.

This is from a show last night. Someone in the audience taped it and put it up on YouTube.

It's the first time Christina has translated one of her songs into spanish. (For all I know she's singing, "my shoes are full of gravy". Let me know if we screwed anything up.)

The only Tele content is the black Custom on a stand.

Big John Studd, both the Teles sound great. Are you both running Fender amps? It's hard to see.

Martin, I think it sounds great. Nice big stage.

Sounds great. Good mix of songs. Harder to Breathe seems like it would be fun one to play. That had to be a cool gig.

Thanks man! After watching the video again, the amp you see peeking out between me and the drummer is the steel player's, a Roland Jazz Chorus of some vintage...I do not know much about these amps (other than they sound good!). I was running my Fender Hot Rod Deville...nothing fancy, but a great "take to the bar and play country" amp. I think the lead player was running a Blonde Fender Blues Jr. that evening..he also uses a real sweet vintage Deluxe Reverb at some gigs.

Martin, the acoustic playing sounds real nice. Is it a Martin? D-18?

Thanks, John. And yes, I'm the original owner of '74 D18.

And I thought that was a pedal steel on your song...I'm trying to get that sound and can't figure it out. What part of Bama are you in?

That's awesome. I have a D-18L (L denoting "lefty")...my first "real" guitar. I would love to gig more with it, but since I play a lot of bar gigs I am terrified of the drunken guy falling into me and smashing it!!! I have actually left Alabama and live in DC (someone please kill me now)...my location is listed as "The Land Of Cotton" simply because I am still in denial :)

Thanks ... it was cool in more ways than one, it was Mar. 31st and 45 degrees.

The PA was from EventEQ in Baltimore, I can't say enough good things about those guys.

Harder to Breathe is fun. Very easy but the heavy lifting is all on the drummer.

Not the greatest sound & video, as I believe this was taken with an iPhone, picking up the sound from the mains. In any case, an original song performed at the famous Rhythm Room in Phoenix last summer.

Well now that's just putting it nicely...LOL. I kid, I kid. No, I give DC more hell than it deserves, that's for sure. I play all around up here...DC, MD, VA, PA, WV...but the majority of it winds up being in Montgomery County. I'm gonna try and email you via the TDPRI interface (let me know if you don't get it) and hopefully we can hook up on some pickin' (or drinkin', tellin' lies, coon huntin', etc.)!

Is that a Barden in that Tele Vincent? Your playing is spot on and it's a nice contrast with the crunched PRS.

I'm trying to learn some of the country style, it is really fun..
