| Band Wagon Band discussion such as starting a band, playing in a band, and the like. However keep this limited to your band. Don't post about the Rolling Stones -- unless you are in the Rolling Stones. |

I miss playing!
It's been six month s since my band called it quits, and god do I miss playing. Especially now that the local bars are starting to pick up business and more bands are getting hired. I even was asked last week if we could play a job sometime this month. I really hated telling her we couldn't. It just goes against my nature to turn any gig down.
No jam sessions around that aren't country stuff, so I can't even go that route, not that I'm much on jams. No bands looking for playersat least not looking for 50 year old wannabees! I would even consider switching back to bass, I'm getting that desperate. Oh well, with calving season about to start I couldn't put much time into anything for a few months anyhow, but it still sucks. Did I mention I miss playing? Justin

Interesting you're a (real?)Cowboy .
Keep playing is all I can say . I live out in the woods ,I had a band fall into my lap .I attribute it to remaining positive and learning tunes. The band is starting to pump . It'll come to you. You've been around .The energy is there . Attract it. |
