Is anybody else having trouble with 20M.com?

Our website has been gone for at least a full day, and I don't have a phone number for the hosting service. Their entire site, as well as their customers' sites, seem to have vanished.

Any info, a phone number, some ideas of what may be going on- would be very much appreciated. This is terrible.

Thanks for the call, and your generous offer. I think Chris is setting up a temporary page through one of our other websites, and with any luck the hosting company will be able to rise to the occasion. The prospect of rebuilding the website is a daunting one, as it would interfere with our production. I hope it doesn't go that far. It is very nice of you to offer your help. Most appreciated, Dave.

Glad to hear! May I make a suggestion and advise you and/or Chris to make a backup of your site on a local hard drive so that if you were to experience this again, at least you have a recent copy of all your site files somewhere?

That's a great idea, Mojo. I think Chris is doing that as I type. This was a first for us, hopefully the only time, but better safe than sorry.. It was really scary.

All businesses should have a BCP - Business Continuity Plan - and a DR plan - as in Disaster recovery plan... since your business largely depends on your Internet presence, you should have a backup ready to go if need be... I do this for a living - BCP & DR work - and I will be glad to assist you free of charge if you ever need a hand with it.
