Yep
I really REALLY liked Syesha. I'm disapointed but seen it coming. What a set up.

My perspective....
Even though he plays a Les Paul, rather than a Telecaster, at least David Cook didn't listen to those who may have said to learn right handed because........Thanks to his music teacher. Have to hope for the lefty.

I never liked Fantasia as much as I did last night. Had to wind it back and watch it twice. What a great, rocking performance. And that look of HORROR on Simon's face was priceless. Great quote from a Washington Post blog about it:
"She's whooping and hollering, gritty and greasy, stomping out in the audience and scaring all the white girls." |

i was hoping for one of the davids vs. syesha
david vs. david seemed to be the match we have predicted, or many have from the start my guess is that it will be a landslide with archuletta getting the lionshare of young female votes i think idol is more of a popularity contest like simon cowell says it has become |

RE: "why can't they find better talent?"
I have often wondered the same thing. Many of the contestants sing very well. (Certainly a lot better than me.) But that is not the point. I just don't understand how 100,000 people in their 20s auditionied and this is the best we can come up with. How come there is no no-doubt-about-it this-is-it GREAT knock-em-dead singer? |

The results were predictable. I knew it would come down to the two Davids. I'm voting for Cook because he's different and takes chances with the songs. I see a bright future for him even if he doesn't win. |

when i saw fantasia last night, she totally outclassed anybody they have there this season we just got a weak crop this year, that's all past winners like ruben, kelly, and taylor are fantastic compared to the two davids but i think both davids can be coached and cleaned up to a professional level...they are both a bit raw where archuletta is a little stiff on stage, and cook tends to sing flat sometimes and resorts a little too much to 90s grunge |

during her season, she did "love is a battlefield" by pat benatar...one of the best moments in american idol ever while her country stuff is good, i think she can be a killer hard rock singer and be like ann wilson or doro pesch, or the female lead singer of the 90s band, the nymphs ... all powerful great stuff carrie could also do, if she opted, to be a power ballad singer like celine dion, but i think it would take a few more years while the titanic song was overplayed, listening it to it now shows the intense power of celine...i think carrie has that potential for power, as does fantasia, and believe it or not, carly simonson ...and yes, kelly, but kelly has already achieved full diva hood in my book |

I think thats his brothers initals his mane is Adam the one with brain cancer that got up on stage with him.
So just a logical guess AC stands for Adam Cook his brother.
