Any Swedish guitar nuts?

Ok I guess I should say Swedish/Chinese, but I played a new Hagstrom Select Ultra Swede last week through a Hughes Kettner with volume on 11. I'm in looove The neck seemed ultra thin and flat - felt so comfortable. The only thing that would make it better would be some P-90's.

Alas, too rich for my blood, even though it's made in China these days. The one I played had a red body with black burst around the edges. It looked better than this one:

The old, original Hagströms are highly collectable these days. There´s a guy here in Sweden who has over 100 old Hagströms in his collection.

Here´s some links if you want to know more:

Not to mention all the 100's of myths about abandoned farmhouses jam-packed with guitars!

Stefan, Jorge, have either of you played an original Hagstrom? Were the necks particularly thin and flat? That was the best feature about this Chinese one.

Here's mine, with a "Kings Neck with Hagström EXPANDER".

Very slender neck, which I normally don't like, but the guitar sounds terrific,
so I just grin and bear it.

I have tried some of them, yes. I don´t recall the necks very well on all of them. I played an old Viking some years ago (like the on Elvis used in his 68 Comeback Special) and the neck was quite thin and nice on that one.

I own a Viking and have played many Hags. The Ultra Swede is a new model, so we can't compare it to any original (as it is the original).

My Viking is weird, some sort of prototype or custom built or something. No f-holes and the neck from a HIIN. That neck is quite chubby, I would not call it skinny in any way.

I must confess that I don't really remember the necks of the other ones...

I only like them if they're made of chocolate. Sorry, couldn't resist.

I have tried multiple original Hagströms at different guitarshows, guitarstorecustomers etc. I have tried a hagström accordion too!
