![]() Hey, I found this yesterday- it's mint copy of Buddy Holly's first album. I guess it was reissued in 1987. I didn't know about it.

![]() Look at this- it's a 1973 Albert King album with him playing a Strat upside down on the cover. I haven't listened to it to see if he actually used it on the album or even if I could tell.

Man, there was a bunch of great used stuff in the stores this weekend! I found about five mint copies of the early Kinks records and a lot of other things.
I need to get a bookcase to stor the records in.

I was out this weekend too. Got some really clean original copies of The Allman's "Eat A Peach", and "Bothers and Sisters". Also got a great original copy of Dylan's "Desire". Oh, and a super clean Jeff Beck "Blow By Blow" for $1.
The peas day resistance though, was a dead mint, never opened, "Will The Circle Be Unbroken" three record set. Cost me $7. It was the most expensive piece I bought, and I would have paid a lot more for it. I also picked up some more of the 80's pop records I'm for some reason unable to resist. I am going back this week. They have a PILE of Merle Haggard records that were calling my name, but I didn't have much cash on me. I'll go back probably wednesday though, and pick 'em up.

My wife called me from a yard sale saturday and read me off a list of albums they had...she got me:
Strong Persuader - Robert Cray Best of Jim Croce Brothers in Arms - Dire Straits and an Eric Clapton album titled "layla"....turns out it was a release in Spain...a 7 track record ....the credits and whatnot are all in Spanish! All of them are darn near mint....$1 each! |
