Which Roy Buchanan Album Should Be My First?
G'Day fellas, With Christmas just a month away my wife is asking about CDs I'd like. I don't have any Roy B. stuff and I've read here on the TDPRI that some of the later releases don't do him justice. So which one would you get? One album is the limit at the moment.
Thanks in advance - bj |

My favorite Telecaster Tone album of all time is "Roy Buchanan - Second Album". I have a about 8 of his albums and the Second Album is my favorite and also his Alligator release "When a guitar plays the Blues" is also a good example of his Telecaster work.

Roy B CD
G'day BJ
I have a double cd compilation called, I think, "Anthology". It's great and seems to have tracks from most of his best albums - "Sweet Dreams", The Messiah", "After Hours" etc. Well worth the wonga! Regards Dave
