apples new "musicians ipod"....
...... could be something like this:
50 gb screen like ipod touch includes a slimmed down version of garageband stereo microphones sort of "outdoorish-rugged-wheatherproof" (for folks who do field recording) i would buy one! so what´s the word getbent? eddie |

Sounds like the Zoom H4 but with the iTouch interface on the front plus WiFi capability. The H4 is running around $270-$299, so I put the price of the iMusician at around $500-550.

Sounds great, but I think it'll be a while before they can stuff GB in there and get it to run like something other than a dog.
My Touch doesn't even have a QuickTime plugin yet.

If you're making a multitrack recording, I don't think there's much sense in using anything smaller than a laptop. A laptop can do it all. These handheld devices have too many limitations.
