Would will you Pick to be in the Super Bowl

Well it's done to 4 teams

AFC: New England vs San Diego

NFC: Green Bay vs New York

The last time San Diego was in it was against the 49ers which the lost big time in Super Bowl 29. the same thing appeals to Giants who lost Super Bowl 35 to Ravens big time as well.

As for the Packers the Last they won was in 30 (Against New England no less) but lost 31 to Denver and New England is trying to win there 4th Super Bowl in 10 years and have the perfect season.

Well, since my cowboys got hammered today, I'm pullin for a Green Bay / New England Super Bowl......the way the Packers have played as of late, they may just be the team to give the Pats a real run for their money....

Would will I pick to be in the Super Bowl?

Well, unfortunately, the only two teams I thought had a chance to knock off New England (the Colts and the Cowboys) lost today. I don't think the Chargers can beat NE, and I don't think NY can win in Greenbay. So that puts NE and GB in the Superbowl, and I believe NE will crush the Packers to lay claim to being the best team in NFL history. We all saw it coming, and it looks like it will come to fruition.

I'd *almost* like to see the Bolts make it to the Super Bowl, if only not to have to listen to LT & Co cry again...

Almost.

So, naturally, I'm hoping the Pats can squeak it out vs the Chargers, & of the two NFC teams, I'd like to see the Packers. Revenge!

:-)

The Super Bowl will be New England and The Giants with a high over/under and the Pats favored by 10 1/2. Key to the game will be how banged up The Giants are after the battle in Wisconsin. Too early to call, but if The Giants are healthy, this one could be a replay of their late December game against The Pats.

But first things first - this weekends upcoming AFC/NFC Championship Games -

New England 34 - San Diego 17
The Chargers don't belong in this one and have too many injuries to be taken seriously. This will be nothing more than a scrimmage for The Pats and a tune up for The Super Bowl. LT, Rivers, Norv and company should stock up on their Kleenex because they'll all be doing some major boo-hooing when this one's over.

NY Giants - 21 - Green Bay - 17
They'll be showing this one on ESPN Classics for the next 50 years. Nothing flashy here, nothing dramatic, just plain old grunt it out football. Weather will be a major factor here and this one will be won and lost on the ground and in the trenches. Neither team will able to establish a passing game and the difference might just be special teams.

.....I could be wrong, but I don't see this Patriots team being derailed; they're on a mission.

Only thing I'll say is that they might not *crush* either the Chargers or the GB/NY winner. They'll probably just go out there and methodically win in an unflashy manner.

Its gonna be a SB 31 re-match. GB and NE. so sorry, but the Giants are just not in the same class as the Packers are right now. The Pack seems to be on a mission. They have been flying under the radar all season, and no one seems to want to give this very young team its due. NE is getting cocky, and that alone makes them beatable. They will underestimate GB, and GB will do what it does best, run the ball in your face and kill you with might be the best passing game in all of football. You hear alot about Brady/Moss, but thats all you seem to hear about. Favre and Co. spread it around to some of the most talented young players in the league (Driver, Jennings, Lee, Robinson, Grant, Franks). Am I biased? Duh! I'm a Packers fan...

Go Pack Go

That's the same thing folks said about the Giants and Tamps Bay.

And the Giants and the Cowboys.

No one has been underestimating the Pack - they've been top of the NFC class all season long.
