Chris Cornell covers the King of Pop

Yeah yeah, you don't cover classics blah blah blah... who cares my friends and I love playing Stairway, and we're working on Freebird for singer, one guitar, and drums. I don't like you either.

Anywho, Mr. Soundgarden singing Billie Jean...

Off his album "Unplugged in Sweden" (2006). I think it's fun.

Check out Alex Cornell on YouTube

Alex Cornell does an incredibly clean version of this song on you tube.

Great stuff! But it would be better with a little bit more clever guitar.

Probably, but Chris Cornell was the one playing, so I didn't expect much.

I think it fits what he's doing quite well. Acts more like a foundation for the vocal.

Chris Cornell has a great voice. I don't care if he's singing Donovan songs.

No idea. Sometime before September 2006... and after Thriller came out.

Love Cornell's voice, but prefered the verses to the chorus on this take. Interesting version tho...

Despite Chris Cornell's decent version of this song, I think it's quite a tribute to the genius of "The King of Pop"...despite his strange behaviours.

Andy Williams didn't write tunes and Donovan rules. Man, Chris Cornell is a fine vocalist. I probably won't catch him in concert until 2030 when he has a theater in Branson.

(Andy Williams also rules.)
